The Finance Department of the United Church of Zambia is responsible for the prudent stewardship and management of the Church’s financial resources. The department is headed by Ms. Nzala Mumbuluma Likando, who leads a team of dedicated finance professionals committed to accountability, transparency, and sound financial governance.
The department is supported by four accountants: Mr. Mathias Nyirenda, Mrs. Chikondi Chiti Silungwe, Mr. Esau Mutambo, and Mr. Haggai Siame, as well as Mrs. Thokozile Ndamu, who serves as the Cashier.
The Finance Department oversees the budgeting, organization, control, management, and coordination of all financial matters of the Church. It plays a key advisory role by providing guidance to the General Secretary, Heads of Departments, Institutions, and Presbyteries on financial planning, expenditure control, and compliance with established financial policies.
Through effective financial management and oversight, the department ensures that the resources of the United Church of Zambia are utilized responsibly and sustainably in support of the Church’s mission and service to communities.
